Rules of Entry

Our race days are family-friendly events that are suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re a member or a visitor to the club you can be assured a great day at the races! There are a few things to remember when attending an event at the Tuncurry-Forster Jockey Club to ensure that everyone can enjoy the day

Race Day FAQ’s for Patrons

  • Patrons attending racecourses in NSW are subject to the Australian Rules of Racing Administered by Racing NSW
  • Members can bring food and NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages to the track, no alcohol or illegal substances will be permitted. punters purchasing alcohol will need proof of age
  • Eskies and bags are checked upon entry by security to ensure compliance
  • We have a zero tolerance of incorrect behaviour
  • Dress code for the Pavilion is smart casual no thongs, singlets or t-shirts and neat casual for open areas

Race Day FAQ’s for Horse Owners

  • All owners are entitled to free entry into the Tuncurry track
  • An owner must have their name alongside the horses name in the race book, this excludes partners, friends and syndicates, one ticket per named owner
  • Owners will receipt 1 x race book per horse and 1 x complimentary racecourse admission
  • Tickets can be collected on race day at horse owners ticketing window
  • Owners will have access to view their horse(s) from the stall walkway but are not permitted in the day stalls tie up areas
